The history of the Sportsmen's Club of Lake Vermilion began in 1968. As you might expect, our hard-working founders were more focused on getting the job done than documenting their activities for us to enjoy now. So we're interviewing the "old timers" and gathering their stories to share with you as we build toward our 40th birthday celebration at the 2008 Annual Meeting on August 9th.

If you're a long-term member who's been a bit of a pack-rat over the years, the Sportsmen's Club is looking for you.

Actually, we're looking for your cache of old club newsletters, The Vermilion Sportsman. Board Member Judy Moline [contact info], our historian, is completing our collection of newsletters as she builds toward our 40th birthday celebration. If you have newsletters from the years shown, please contact Judy. She'd like to borrow your original to make a copy.
