Opportunities for Charitable Giving
Charitable Giving Options at the Sportsmen's Club
The Sportsmen's Club of Lake Vermilion, Inc., has qualified as a tax-exempt, non-profit educational organization under IRC Section 501(c)(3). Your charitable gifts and membership dues are generally tax deductable for Federal income tax purposes. Please consult your tax professional.
To accommodate a wide range of donor interests, the Sportsmen's Club has two funds to which gifts may be directed:
Gifts to this fund are used for a wide variety club activities. Any size gift is appreciated and acknowledged.
It is not uncommon for renewing members to "round up"
their check when paying their dues. These gifts are added to the
Sportsmen's Club General Fund unless designated to another fund by the
donor.
Gifts to this fund are used to maintain and to make improvements to our six existing shore lunch sites [more info]. Any size gift is appreciated and acknowledged.

Special Memorial Opportunity: Construction of a New Shore Lunch Site
Several of our current shore lunch sites were funded by generous personal and memorial contributions from members and their friends. We truly appreciate their gifts.
Our shore lunch sites get lots of use during the boating season. We'd like to build more, but the construction cost is substantial, typically between $4000 and $6000. If you'd consider helping us financially with this endeavor, please contact Board Member Dale Lundblad [contact info] or any other board member for a confidential discussion.
