Boat Safety Classes  

Planning is underway for future boat safety classes, but none are scheduled at this time.

Sportsmen's Club Hosted Boating Safety Class in Spring 2008

The Sportsmen's Club of Lake Vermilion made arrangements with the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary to teach their very popular boating safety class, America's Boating Course, at Lake Vermilion. The instructor was Tim Engrav, an officer in the Ash Lake U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary.

This class provided the in-depth knowledge you need to operate a boat safely. Many insurance companies offer discounts on boating insurance to boaters who successfully complete this course.
